Our Values - What we stand for

Empowerment:

We aim to empower individuals with the tools, resources and support necessary to inspire confidence and autonomy.
Empowerment lies at the heart of our mission and values. Our programs and resources are designed to highlight the fundamental truth that each individual possesses the power to shape their own thoughts, emotions and actions.

Community:

We strive to foster collaboration between teachers, parents and children to create a supportive community.
“It takes a village to raise a child.”
Community is a cornerstone of our philosophy. We believe that fostering a sense of collective responsibility is essential for nurturing the growth and development of children. We believe, teachers, parents and children are all integral parts of a united support system, working together toward the common goal of promoting children’s wellbeing and mindset. We seek to create an environment where every child can thrive mentally and emotionally.

Compassion:

We aim to create a supportive and understanding environment cultivating empathy, kindness and non-judgmental support, where everyone feels valued, heard and understood.
Compassion lies at the heart of our approach. We recognise that each person faces unique challenges and struggles, and what may seem easy for one individual could be difficult for another. With this understanding, we believe that by demonstrating compassion, we not only support each other but also set a positive example for the children we aim to nurture.

Our Mission
Our mission is to empower parents and teachers to raise happy, successful children, both at home and school. Through our journals, programs and resources, we provide practical guidance to help children navigate their emotions so that they are able to thrive emotionally, academically and socially. Our aim is to support as many children at home and school using our resources as we can.
Why Student Mental Health Matters
In today's fast-paced world, our students encounter a multitude of pressures and stressors that can affect their mental health.

From academic expectations to navigating peer relationships and social pressures, the journey of growing up can be a challenging one.

We believe that there are millions of primary school children as well as secondary school students struggling with their mental health every day.
Rapid lifestyle changes, leave adults feeling caught out and unprepared. Some are even unaware of the pressures children are now experiencing. Therefore, children are trying to cope the best they can until the cracks get larger and situations rapidly spiral out of control.

At PMHWB we see a pressing need to address the mental health challenges faced by primary school children. We believe that the traditional approaches to education and support do not adequately meet the evolving needs of our youth, as times have changed.

That's why we are committed to taking proactive steps to cultivate a culture of mental health awareness and support within schools and homes.

We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to flourish emotionally, academically and socially. We recognise the profound impact that mental health has on a child's overall wellbeing and success in life. That's why we are committed to creating a world where children are empowered to develop resilient minds that can navigate the complexities of today's society with confidence and compassion.
